Here's a great appetizer that only uses four ingredients. You'll need to prepare ahead of time and allow to chill in the fridge, but we think you'll enjoy these.
Onion Cheese Rounds
1 cup grated cheese
1 cup butter, softened
1 envelope onion soup mix
2 cups all purpose flour
Preheat oven to 375°F. Beat cheese and butter together with electric mixer. Blend in onion soup mix. Work flour in with a pastry blender or your fingers, forming a crumbly dough. Place on a sheet of waxed paper and form into a roll about 2 inches in diameter. Roll up in the waxed paper and refrigerate overnight or several days. Slice about ¼ inch thick and place on a cookie sheet about 1 inch apart. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until slightly brown.
